Walking and talking is a useful medium for processing challenging topics. I often prescribe couples to walk regularly together practicing skills discussed during therapy. Those that adhere to my suggestion often need less appointments with me. But, as you can imagine, not all of us like homework =)

Unfortunately, walking and talking with me is not a regular service, but may be in the future. Perhaps I've created this "not real" service thus far to get other's more interested in walking in general but perhaps to create "walking therapy" as the new norm. However, feel free to inquire should you prefer to walk along a coastal path or elsewhere for either therapy or consultation services. Walking can often be helpful to the process, but unfortunately is more challenging for my schedule. However, sometimes patients and clients prefer to walk my office neighborhood during some or all of their session.
